Sixty Plus has now merged with Age Concern Kensington and Chealsea to form one body. At present we are updating our website and the aimis to ensure that the information we provide is as comprehensive as possible. New Horizons, the pioneering multi-activity centre for people over 50 is now open. The centre, which is a collaboration between Open Age, Sixty Plus and the Guinness Trust is located on Cadogan Street in Chelsea. As well as activities, including yoga, bridge, singing and regular advice sessions, New Horizons will be the venue for a number of one-off Sixty Plus events.To find out more about activities at New Horizons click here or telephone: 0207 590 8970 New Horizons cafe is open daily between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
The latest shopping rota is now available to download here or from the Sixty Plus office. Shopping trips take place every Wednesday and Thursday to different supermarkets in or around the Borough and are open to Sixty Plus members. To find out more about escorted shopping trips you can contact Tasio in the Sixty Plus office on 0208 969 9105.
The schedule for outings for Chelsea residents is now available. These outings have been available to people in SW3 and SW10 for three years, but we’re now extending them to residents of SW1, SW5 and SW7. Welcome to you! For more information, click here.
