6 Ageing Well courses that took place in North Kensington between January
and May. Ageing Well focused on aspects of memory such as: Weekly Ageing Well sessions will take place at London Lighthouse, 111-117 Lancaster Road, W11 1QT starting on Wednesday 12th November from 2pm-3pm.
In April and May we ran courses with Pepper Pot Day Centre and the PCT which taught people how to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The free course will ran over 6 weeks and included food demonstrations, taste testing, a supermarket tour, the chance to try different physical activities. More Cook and Taste sessions (places limited) will take place starting Friday 19th September from 11-1pm at the Latymer Christian Centre, 116 Bramley Road, W10 6SU. Latimer Road is the nearest tube station and the 295 bus stop is right outside the centre. More than 25 people have enjoyed the Cook and Taste sessions in the past year so why not come along and have a go too. Every week you get to cook and sample a new dish.
